Each year during the Dutch Design Week the Department of Industrial Design showcases its top student work. At ID’12 this involves stellar Final Master Projects (FMPs), but also a wide selection of first, second and third-year Bachelor’s projects, non-FMP Master’s projects and PDEng projects.

What will you be seeing?

When the Department of Industrial Design started in 2001 it took on the challenge to educate a new type of industrial designer; a designer who, through a process of life-long and self-directed learning, can be leading in the creation of our future world; a designer with a strong identity and with a clear vision on what could be, rather than on what is; a designer who can enable people to transform their lives by providing them with intelligent systems, products and services. In other words, literally the designer of the future.

At ID’12 you will catch a glimpse of what these designers of the future are capable of.

Enjoy.
